When are the greatest concentrations of whale sharks in the Bay Islands?
The greatest concentrations of whale sharks around the Bay Islands of Honduras appear off the northern shore of Utila and while it is possible to see them all year round there are two seasons when they appear in greater concentrations.
It is possible to find whale sharks all year round however the greatest concentrations of whale sharks appear during the months of February and April and then again later in the year in September and October, although this later season is usually not so busy.
