For the last two years Alton’s Dive Center has offered Peace Corps volunteers, Utila Bay Island Conservation Association Volunteers and the Utila Iguana Station volunteers a discount on dive training. We are especially used to working with Peace Corps volunteers and understand that you often have a limited time frame and a small budget. We will be continuing our volunteer packages in 2012. With a few minor variations all the Volunteer Packages include the same offers. You will see some minor differences looking at the individual packages which include everything you need to take a scuba course at a discounted price and with the flexibility to meet your time constraints.

At Alton' s we have been working with Peace Corps Volunteers, BICA volunteers and Iguana Station Volunteers for many years and understand your money and time constraints.

If you don't have time to complete a whole PADI Open Water course (normally 4.5 days) we will work a schedule that will let you complete it in 2 or 3 visits to us. You'll still receive all the same offers.

As a Peace Corps volunteer we also understand that your free time is typically limited to holiday times such as Christmas and Easter. No worries, even though these are typically busy full price times on Utila as a volunteer you will still receive your discount. The holiday times often mean that you might come in with a larger group. Let us know if you want accommodation together, we have larger dorm rooms and even a house we can let a larger group have. All still for free if you are taking a dive course!
