We liked it very much, to stay with you and we wish we have the possibility to come again, who knows?
We have a lot of new experience and are full of power for our work, which starts tomorrow.

Everything about our stay at Alton's was just awesome. My friend and I visited the islands for a week -- Roatan was nice, but we ended up wishing we'd stayed longer on Utila. The DMs and crowd we stayed with were really cool (Katya, Sarah, Bob, Natasha, Christopher, everyone -- you guys rock) and I'm thinking seriously about heading back at some point to stay longer/do my DM. (I wasn't even thinking about going beyond Rescue before, so that's saying something.) Great people, great culture, great diving -- keep it up!

Hey, I just finished an open water course with Lauren. I was just writing to thank ya'll; everything at Alton's was awesome, and Lauren was a great teacher. The whole island has such a laid back vibe and so it was really nice to see how serious Lauren was about her teaching. She was great! Thanks again, and I'll be sure to be back to get my Advanced in a few years time!

When I first came to Central America I had no clue about diving! I met so many people who spoke so highly about scuba diving and Alton's that I wanted to try it out. Now that I've been here a week and done my PADI Open Water and NAUI Advanced I'm in love with scuba diving and all the people at Alton's! It's been an awesome experience! Thanks for everything! I will definitely recommend Alton's to everyone!

Our Ode to Alton's

When we got here we had no idea we'd stay this long or have so much fun. You made it hard to leave... so we have a few people to thank:

Jamie: First & foremost thanks go to our instructor for not only teaching us to dive but also for providing much needed banter & entertainment (especially our crazy night out). All our dives were awesome; thanks for pointing out our first turtle and making us feel so at ease underwater. Couldn't have had a better first week diving. (in a gay australian accent) "it was a beauty!"

Captains Joe & Gringo: thanks for the music & wet & wild rides!

Martin/Norway/Viking: Although you might not have realised, you stole Lucy's heart for the week!!!

THANKS AGAIN - we will miss you lots!!

We dove all week with Rob and Joe as our captain. We were treated like kings! Good people, good diving. Look forward to coming back.

Why did i leave Alton's??? I should have stayed!
Really excellent setup they have, right on the water, with dorms within spitting distance of the dive boat! (handy in the mornings after the night before)
The staff/instructors/DMs are really good, knowlegable and happy! (a good sign!)
Ticked off almost all the fishes in their waters and quite a few of the islands many, many dive sites, but my favourite was Ron's Wreck for sure!
I know i'm gonna be back in Alton's one day... To catch the whalesharks that were hiding from me, and looking forward to the tea & biscuits onboard the boat!

Came looking for a friend, leaving with many more... thank you all for having such big hearts and warm smiles everybody. Only leaving to make some cash, will return for dive master training.

Had a blast! Breathing under water, REALLY? Yes!! I created a new slogan for this island today. Came knowing how to drink leave knowing how to dive. Love you all, thank you for the endless hospitality. And Ali, thank you for dealing with two obnoxious Americans. Steve the Pirate don't leave, thanks for the snacky crackers, Chino don't stop moving, Norm never wear a shirt, Jess never loose that smile - you brought us here, you are all wonderful - keep the music going - see you all when I go for DM.

Had a great time and even managed to get knocked up!! A truely magical place!!

Spent a great deal of time here.. in the water and on the dock.. Have to say, without a doubt one of my favourite places in the world.. I also spent a great deal of time in the office enjoying their A/C. Who am I?

I have had such a cool time. I only came for open water and I was nervous about that, but now I am advanced! Night diving is amazing and the instructors were great and the general atmosphere here is really friendly. Thanks everyone its been the highlight of my trip and if I have aspirations of being a divemaster I'll be back. Lots of love Laura xxx
