Dear Altons,
thanks so much for an aweaome Utila experience! Katja we are sad we could not find you last night to say goodbye. We loved scuba diving and felt we were in the best of all situations at all times (safety, ear issues, and of course seeing all the neat stuff!). Thanks so much for being such an excellent instructor.
Derek & Sam - thanks so much for helping us on our dives! Your patience with ear issues and your stray fin catching abilities were much appreciated! (I think I still owe 2 rum & cokes...)

Time to kick back and spend some down time relaxing on Utila's beaches. Two beaches in East Harbor provide nearby beach time, but if you want to venture further then you can hike to a remote beach which you will have all to yourself. Or get a boat to the cays and spend the day on an island of sand and palm trees...
Utila lies only 18 miles from mainland Honduras, and is easily accessible by air or sea.
Banking can some times be a little tricky on Utila. The best thing is to be prepared! There are only two banks on Utila one accepts only VISA and the other also accepts MasterCard.
Utila is small enough to easily get around on foot - but to get around Utila and really see the island you need some wheels.
Utila is home to a huge variety of dive sites making the island a great place to spend a couple of weeks diving. Here are some of our favorite dive sites, and we think they will also become some of yours! 
Utila's has a good selection of bars set along the two main streets of the town. Somewhere for a relaxing after dinner cocktail or somewhere to party until the sun comes up.
As the sun goes down thoughts turn to sunset cocktails and the toughest decision of the day. Where to eat? Utila has plenty of options for you to choose from. Here are a selection for you to have a quick look at.
